The vagina produces acidic fluids which naturally clean said area, soap, baby wipes, feminine sprays and powders, and douches ALL upset that natural chemical balance and are harmful for vaginal health and can make you more susceptible to yeast infections.
That being said, whether you shave or not has nothing to do with smell or heath. Shaving was invented by razor companies to make more money.
[EDIT] Forgot to say how you should clean your vula… Warm water is all that’s needed. Use your fingers or a soft wash cloth and GENTLY wash your inner and outer labia and you should be good to go

I’m posting this because many online resources I looked at said soap is a vaginas best friend and shaving is the hygienic thing to do (both are untrue)
